SamsonMedia.net specializes in website development, email marketing, search engine optimization, social media marketing and video production. Founded by Gene R. Sower in late 2006 and based in Montclair, New Jersey, SamsonMedia.net continues to help businesses “build websites that sell” by deploying various Internet marketing tactics to drive relevant search engine traffic and social media traffic to their websites in an effort to grow and expand their businesses.
Big fans of WordPress and other content management systems like Joomla, Gene has made the versatile open source code platform the cornerstone of their web development efforts especially for clients who want to manage their own websites more easily without relying on programmers or outside designers.
“I’m a big fan of the old adage about teaching a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime,” Gene explains, “as opposed to simply giving him a fish and feeding him for one day. Building WordPress sites for our clients is the equivalent of teaching them to fish!”
Prior to founding SamsonMedia.net, Gene was the VP of Production at West Glen Communicatiins in New York and helped launch About.com which is now owned by The New York Times Company.
