Inserting images into your WordPress posts and pages is the difference between a boring website and and engaging one.

Yes, you’ll need to also have relevant, useful, interesting or entertaining content, but even the most brilliant writing can be helped along with a graphic or image — especially on the Internet where people are notorious skimmers!  A well-placed image can break up your copy, make it more inviting and help people discern at a glance what the content is about. 

BONUS IDEA:  IMAGES & SOCIAL MEDIA

When using your WordPress website in conjunction with social media sites like LinkedIn and Facebook, using images in your WordPress posts and pages will show up on your links on those social media sites, too.
